Hamilton’s amazing success has stunned musical lovers across the world. The show is not only phenomenal in terms of sales but also through its raving reviews from both viewers and professional critics. “Hamilton is the kind of transformative theatrical experience that has only happened a few times in the history of American musicals,” wrote The Guardian.

Hamilton attracts a wide range of audiences, from old to young. The Paw Print, a high school publication, had this to write in their review, “The musicality of this production is simply phenomenal. I truly believe that nothing in the world can top this show.” The writer went on to say, “The acting in this production is so heartfelt and makes me feel and ponder so much. I cried so much during the songs It’s Quiet Uptown and Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story because they left such a strong and emotional message to the audience.”

Vox’s writer was so candid about how Hamilton has affected her. “Hamilton isn’t perfect. But it’s ‘perfect.’ I couldn’t write for a month after I saw it.” The drama continued, “I didn’t leave the theater after seeing Hamilton. I resurfaced.” The reviewer went on to praise the musicality of Hamilton, “Yes, the lyrics are dense. Yes, they’re filled with cleverness. But they’re also structured in such a way that you can follow the plot almost entirely by hearing the words more than two or three people sing together.”

Meanwhile, Time Out opened their review with the statement, “Let’s just get this out of the way. ‘Hamilton’ is stupendously good.” The writer continued to praise the storyline for its incredible pacing. “It’s got a relentlessly catchy build and momentum, a crackling, edge-of-seat sense of drama, and is absolutely chockablock with information, as the key players stride on to bring us up to speed with the eventful life that Hamilton – the ‘bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman’ – led before he emigrated to America.”
